About ASVABScores

Why this site exists

ASVABScores was created to solve a specific problem: ASVAB score reports contain multiple score types — AFQT percentiles, line scores, subtest raw scores — and most people encounter them with no context for what each number means or how it connects to military job qualification.

Recruiters can answer these questions, but many test-takers want to understand their results on their own terms before that conversation. ASVABScores provides the tools and reference data to make that possible, covering score interpretation, job requirement comparison, and targeted practice — all free, with no account required.

What we cover

The site currently focuses on Army MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) requirements. Each job entry includes the published line score threshold, a link to the official source document, and the date the requirement was last checked. We keep a three-state verification ledger internally and publish only verified requirements:

• Verified — the requirement is confirmed from a current official Army specification document and is published.
• Pending — the requirement has been recorded but not yet independently verified; it is held back and not shown on the site.
• Conflict — sources disagree on the requirement; it is held back until resolved.

Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard requirements are not yet included. We plan to expand coverage as source verification is completed for each branch.

How content is produced

Score requirements are recorded from official Army MOS specification documents published by Army Human Resources Command. Each entry is individually checked, and the source URL and verification date are displayed on the job page.

Practice questions are original ASVAB-style items written and reviewed for answer and explanation consistency. They are not official ASVAB items and are not sourced from any government test bank.

Informational content about score types, line score formulas, and enlistment categories is compiled from publicly available Department of Defense resources and cross-checked against multiple official sources.

What this site is not

ASVABScores is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Defense, any military branch, any recruiting command, or the official ASVAB program. It is an independent reference site. Meeting a score threshold shown here does not guarantee enlistment or job assignment — additional requirements including OPAT, security clearance, medical screening, and training availability are evaluated separately by your recruiter.
