Line scores behind Aviation jobs
The subtests shown are the Army's nominal definition of each aptitude area from DA PAM 611-21, Military Occupational Classification and Structure, Table 10-1 (ASVAB aptitude area composites). The reported score is computed on the 1997 scale as a weighted sum of seven standard scores (DMDC 2004, Table 2.7), which can give weight to subtests outside the nominal list; GT is the exception and equals AR + VE exactly. Improving a subtest therefore raises several composites at once. The Army score guide explains each line score; use the line score on your report, or compute it from your standard scores.
